Hey guys yeah I wanted to show you this video of my friends band who did a cover of House of Jealous Lovers! They are called Zeroes and Ones and they love you!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ll79zBKWhec

There is another video somewhere of them doing the song but using a frying pan as the cowbell! (Forgot the cowbell for the gig and had to run and find one before its started!)

The Idiot and Lust For Life are two of my favorite records ever and while the next one, New Values, doesn't sound quite as cool as those two, the songs are just as good! An amazing run. I always say that the song "Mass Production" single-handedly defined the Martin Hannett/Joy Division sound. The synth washes and effects, the slow tempo, the mournfull singing...sounds like something off Unknown Pleasures. Iggy Pop played the Apollo in Manchester in late 1977 and I imagine everyone from Factory Records and the Buzzcocks/Magazine and everyone else there and that's when post-punk was born!

Great video, unfamiliar haircuts. Harris Klahr does a great job, but maybe Gabriel should offer him dancing lessons - remember: most musicians, even the professionals, are unsure about how they should move to cowbell sounds.
Oh, and as if your video wasn't enough entertainment for one evening it also made me stumble upon Q And Not U (yes, I did NOT know them before). Thank you!
