Looking at the LCD Soundsystem website and getting excited to hear our long time buddy James’ new record and thinking about being “good enough,” and following your own path. A while back I got lost and didn’t think that just being me was good enough, looking at what James has done just being himself has brought me a lot of peace. God Bless you dude. Can’t wait to hear your new music.
So we are very excited about the next release on Throne of Blood because it totally rules!!! Here is a description from James:
White hot debut from Throne of Blood’s latest and greatest, NYC’s very own Populette!
The single drops on vinyl and digital February 15 via Kompakt Distribution and features remixes by fellow NYC stalwarts Harkin & Raney, and the inimitable TBD
Already getting love from Ewan Pearson, Twitch (Optimo), Ivan Smagghe, Azari & III, JDH & Dave P!!!
This People are really in need of help. I’ve been trying to cut down on the words “need” and “want” in my diet lately but this is a real need. I donated some money here to help
Happy New Year everyone. Been really feeling this song today. Was at a bar yesterday watching the mighty San Diego Chargers roll to their 11th straight victory and this song came on the jukebox. Hadn’t heard it in a long time and couldn’t get it out of my head since I heard it. Niles Rodgers, Bernard Edwards and Diana Ross at their finest.
Hello Friends. Happy Thanksgiving for sure… Flipping through NME website and came across the best albums of 2003. We got second that year only to the White Stripes best LP with Seven Nation Army on it, probably the most indelible song of the decade. I remember every album in the top 50 and it was fun to look through all of them. That year and the year after we played with almost all those bands somewhere or another. What a rush to be all over the world and on stages meeting people at parties and going on tour with friends and people that we would have otherwise met. Totally dizzying and fun and confusing all at the same time. I’m so glad to be part of all that back then and now.
